Digital Citizenship Project

Project Directions 

Goal: Create a flyer, poster, handout, or presentation to encourage others to be Digital Citizens.

Digital Citizens:

• Stay safe online
• Respect others online
• Protect private information
• Stand up to Cyberbullying
• Balance time spent using technology with other activities

You may work by yourself or in a group of 2-4.

As a group decide what topic to do for your project. You will have all of class time to create a flyer, poster, handout, or presentation using Google Drive or other approved digital tools.

When you are finished, share your project with Miss Hoppenworth and fill out the Digital Citizenship Project Google Form from your 5th grade page.

Ideas of tools to use:

• Use Google Docs to create a flyer or a handout
• Use Google Slides to create a slideshow presentation
• Use Google Drawing to create a poster
• If you know of another website or tool that you think might work, check with Miss Hoppenworth to see if it is OK.

Be creative, work together, and do your best to get your project finished in on time!
