Welcome!
You are one of the newest employees at Space Expeditions - a new travel company that is offering vacations to each of the other 7 planets in our solar system. Your job is to build a web page with information convincing people to travel to the planet you represent. You're trying to sell as many vacations to this planet as you can. All vacations include travel on the luxurious Superspeed Shuttle, guided surface or atmospheric tours, and side trips to moons and rings to planets that have them. All passenger safety is ensured by our expert staff and cutting edge technology. You must choose one planet to represent. You will then research that planet and create a web page with information that will draw customers. All new employees must create a web page advertising an expedition to one of the planets. You are competing with other employees to see who can sell the MOST trips. You need to be creative! But your facts must also be correct or you will have some unhappy customers. |

3. Gather facts about each topic below: a. surface and/or atmosphere features b. temperature and climate features c. size d. how the customer will travel (landing or orbiting) and any "extras" you can offer 4. Collect at least 1 picture of your planet 5. Arrange your facts and picture on the web page (be creative with your words when you are "selling" your planet!) |
